It has been extremely hard to get used to being without Frank, although we are doing our best to carry on.  We are living in our travel trailer which is set up on Frank's parents property.  The boys really love it because its all self-contained and is our very own space.    The boys are back to doing home school again (Owen, age 12, is in grade 6 and Chauncey, age 9, is in grade 3).  I make up the lesson plans and explain them each evening, and then Grandma supervises while I go to work during the day.  Owen is into photography and horseback riding and aspires to be a Veterinarian or a teacher someday.  Chauncey (or Chance, as he's known around here) is a great horse-lover too, and wants to be a horse-shoer and horse-trainer someday.  (For his birthday a year ago Frank gave him some farrier tools and was already teaching him the trade. )  They have both done cowboy work with Frank on our boss's ranch and hope to get the chance to do that again.  I have gone back to my old job at Elkhorn Realty, where I have been an agent since 1995.  It is good to be busy and absorbed with the work in a friendly and familiar environment. We are glad to have wonderful friends and relatives who have given us a lot of encouragement and support. And most of all we are thankful for the friendship and companionship of the Lord, who helps to heal the pain and fill the void, and walks with us every step of the way.
